We will be debuting our new 3-day schedule in 2026!  The event will start a little earlier on Day 1 (noon vs. 1:00pm) and end a little later on Day 3 (4:00pm vs. 3:30pm) so that we'll still be able to offer 20 CEUs.  We will also be offering additional webinars to help keep our available CEUs at the same level (26.5) as previous years.

2026 Annual Conference Call for Speakers 

ESAAL is gearing up for our 45th Annual Conference & Trade Show & we are changing things up a bit this year! Instead of a 4-day in-person event, the conference will be 3 days in-person April 27-29 at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY, as well as webinars in May/June. We are seeking speakers to present in one or both formats.

We are seeking original, energetic, thought-provoking proposals that will allow ESAAL members to hear about creative approaches, new ideas, innovative models, emerging trends, as well as topics that address regulatory & other pressing issues facing assisted living providers today. Submission guidelines & suggested topics are on the first section of the application, but we welcome any & all relevant topics. The following criteria will be used in the review process: quality and relevance of content, innovative ideas, practical application, presenter qualifications, and presentation format. ESAAL’s Conference and Education Committee, comprised of members and staff, will review the applications.
ESAAL educational sessions last between 60-90 minutes in length, depending on program content and time slot. Presenter agrees to present for full allotted session time.
This is an educational conference and therefore presenters may not use a session as an opportunity to spotlight a company, product, or service.

Event Policies

Registration for the annual conference must be paid in full by April 13, 2025.  If payment is not received by the deadline, your registration will be cancelled.  If you still want to attend the conference, you will need to complete a new registration at the prevailing rate & pay with a credit card at that time.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing via email by 5:00pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less $150 service fee. Cancellations received after the stated deadline (5:00pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025) will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event (no-shows). Cancellations will be accepted in writing via email only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. If you are unable to attend, you may send an alternate to the event without additional charge, but ESAAL must be notified of the change prior to arrival.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images: Registration and attendance at, or participation in, ESAAL meetings, conferences, and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ESAAL's use and distribution (now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee's images or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio tapes of such events activities. Unless you inform ESAAL in writing via email that you object, permission is assumed.

GDPR/Info sharing:  Registration to ESAAL’s Annual Conference & Trade Show also constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ESAAL to share their name, workplace, work address, work email, & work phone number with exhibitors, presenters & sponsors prior to & immediately following the event.  Unless you inform ESAAL in writing via email that you object, permission is assumed.
