Empire State Association of Assisted Living (ESAAL) strengthens, promotes and advocates for New York State's assisted living network in the best interests of residents and providers.

Empire State Association of Assisted Living (ESAAL) is a not-for-profit organization that has been dedicated to strengthening New York State’s assisted living network and promoting the best interests of providers and residents since 1979.  ESAAL is the only association that exclusively represents the assisted living provider network, serving more than 280 licensed Assisted Living Residences, Adult Homes and Enriched Housing Programs throughout New York State. These member residences are home to more than 23,000 seniors.


The Benefits of Membership

Membership in the Empire State Association of Assisted Living is open to operators of licensed Adult Homes, Enriched Housing Programs and Assisted Living Residences in New York State, and to any individual, company or corporation that has an interest or is involved in assisted living in New York State.

The Association offers two types of membership: 

1) Provider membership for existing or prospective adult home, enriched housing and assisted living providers. 

2) Industry Partner membership is available for vendors and other assisted living stakeholders. 

All applicants are reviewed and considered by the Association's Board of Directors.
