This seminar is an opportunity for new staff to be guided through a comprehensive overview of New York State Department of Health regulations to help them understand the role that they play, in the context of their own job duties, to accomplish the shared goal of helping residents be well & satisfied, and to meet regulatory requirements, as well as hot topics. The presentation will include updates on new policy & regulatory compliance topics that have surfaced since this seminar was last presented in 2016.
Reminder: Over a two-year period, Case Managers & Activities Directors may earn up to 20 of the 60 continuing education hours on behalf of an adult home Administrator/Executive Director.
