HAS OPENED UP! The Health Services Administrator, reporting to
the Executive Director, is responsible for the oversight and direction
of all levels of our entire health center (assisted living, memory
care and skilled nursing) as well as health and wellness services for our
Independent Living community. Our 5-star life plan (CCRC) retirement
community primarily serves our residents on a private pay/Medicare
basis. This dynamic role ensures that our excellent health
services function reflects our strong mission and strategic objectives by
identifying actual and anticipated service requirements, creating and executing
innovative programs, often in collaboration with our communities in a
multi-unit system, developing the community as a center of gerontology
by working with N.Y.S. associations and local healthcare
organizations, maintaining and exceeding D.O.H. requirements for all levels
of care, chairing multiple committees involving QI, Infection Control,
Pharmacy, Utilization Review and Interdisciplinary Team and other
responsibilities vital to our exceptional reputation. The Health Services
Administrator also acts as the Compliance Officer for the organization.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with
the unquestionable ethics and at least 8 years of experience as an
administrator in skilled nursing AND assisted living preferably in a CCRC
setting. Current H.S.A. license in NYS required, M.B.A.
preferable. Other required skills include exceptional leadership,
interpersonal and diplomatic skills, proven success in developing leading edge
programs with seniors and proficiency in electronic medical records
system(s). Other requirements are the ability to develop staff, excellent
verbal, written and presentation skills including Board presentations and a
high level of initiative and tact. Previous experience as a
